SAASTHAA CLADDING TILE

Installation

Spray water on the brick wall where the tile is to be installed. For wall Plaster cement:
sand can be kept as 1:1

• 1. plaster the wall and make a leveled surface using a wooden hawk. Make the plaster rough with the help of a broom. Let the plaster settle for 2-3 days and cure as required. Once the plaster is set, spray water on it before starting the tile installation. Use a water pipe to maintain a constant level, mark level on the plaster. Soak the press tiles in a bucket full of water. Extruded tiles do not need soaking. Soak thread in coloured water. Use the marks made with the water level as guidelines to press the coloured thread against the plastered wall. Such imprints can be marked all the way up maintaining the proper height required for cladding tiles and grooves.
• For tile fixing, paste can be made by using cement only. Sand can be added, if desired .Put a layer of this paste on the backside of the tile.
• Use the thread imprints on the plaster as guidelines to maintain the alignment for fixing the tiles. Thump softly to ensure fixing.
• Use a mixture of cement and sand in 1:1 proportion for filling up the grooves. Use a wooden base and bent rod as shown in the picture, after 4-5 hours, once the grooves are dried, extra cement can be brushed off. Spray some water for curing of grooves.
